"Yummy"

This is one way we say "Yummy" here
in The Big Woods. (no~Chef Little T is not helping,
he making his own "yummy". I just thought the
chef hat picture went perfect with this post!)
Fresh picked banana peppers from our garden,
washed, sliced and seeded. Stuff with your favorite
cheese . (Our peppers did great this year!)

Broil in the oven till the cheese is
melted and golden brown.

Oh yeah! To die for!

And I put enough in the freezer to get us
through the winter! "YUMMY"!

What a great idea - I never considered stuffing the banana or poblano peppers because I thought they'd be too flimsy and wilt under the heat. Never mind freezing them! Oh, how I wish I'd known about this a few weeks ago when I was wallowing in peppers and using them as Q-tips or candle holders because there were way too many of them.

These look FANTASTIC.

Save me a tray. I'm on my way.

Can you send a tray of those to my house - say around 6pm? I have to be on a boat today with the governor. It is raining, cold, and windy. I have not dried out from yesterday's assignment which was also outside.

A tray of those would really warm me up. If only my husband could cook.

Oh my .. cheese is my second favorite food after bread ... I now wish I had grown peppers instead of those cute begonias in the window box

Chef T looks very handsome!

I'm not a fan of any kind of peppers, but a cheese stuffing is always a good thing!

While I'm not a pepper fan, everyone else is; this looks like a great idea - we'll use it at the next family get-together! (with proper shout-outs to NNG, of course!)

You actually own a chef's hat? Wonderful! I'm afraid I might melt from the pepper heat, but if I made those, Checkered would really, really love me.
