Yep, these are fabulous shots. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to shoot the moon, but to my dismay, they always come out looking like dot with a twin.
It's a good thing no howling took place. Who knows what might have shown up.
and I live in Indiana and the "feast of the Hunters Moon" was just last weekend. It's a GREAT experience. The pictures are fantastic! And yep, here we know about the hunters moon...they were not very happy...confused the deer and the hunters....LOL

Those are mighty impressive, Cdub. I am still angry though about spending the last 20 years thinking a hunter's moon was a harvest moon.
