After my Friday morning workout on Doomsday, the day the world ends, December 21, 2012, I headed home to pick up Little T who is now on Christmas Winter Break. We decided to make it a mother and son day and what a day it was!
We started off doing some banking errands and then headed to Sheltering Arms Rehab Center to visit an elderly friend. We surprised her with a small Christmas tree that we decorated for her while we visited. She also loved the magazines we brought her.
Then we headed for Wally-World Wal-Mart which was total madness! Thank goodness we only needed one item! We were in and out in minutes which is almost unheard of! Another quick stop at Game Stop for some gift certificates. Lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings. It was yummy! More browsing at Marshall's to kill some time until we headed for the barbershop hair stylist. Little T has been talking about getting his hair chopped off cut for some time now. He wanted to donate it to Locks of Love. He was going to wait until Summer but then decided Christmas was the time to do it! I will leave you with the following pictures. They say it all. What a selfless gift to give someone in need.
