Friday Shoot Out ~ Outdoor Food

This week's theme is Outdoor Food.
Thanks
Girlichef!
Around these parts, it doesn't get much
better than
Blue crabs from the
Chesapeake Bay! A real summer time
favorite mostly eaten outdoors !

This photo was taken by my Cbub at the
First Annual Blogfest in Mathews, VA.
Anyone recognize those tootsies?

Those elegant tootsies belong to the one and only Daryl, who will be played by Lauren Hutton in the upcoming Blog Fest Movie. However, Lauren cannot hold a candle to the real thing. I think Daryl should play herself.

Great shot of those crabs. I tried crabs once in Maryland - didn't know you were suppose to eat them shell in all. Interesting experience to say the least ;)

I reckon those tootsies belong to none other than the stunning Ms. Daryl!

I think some of my best photos were of the blue crabs taken whilst I was down in VA with ya'll. And oh how I miss you all.

Oh those poor crabs...of course I can't eat shell fish so I have to sympathies with "the meal".

Are those Daryl's piggies??

Dearest Noe Noe:

Those crabs sure do look yummy good; you'll have to get a few baskets full for when myself and the Hordes come on over for your pool side extravaganza.

I ain't seen crabs like that since I was dating in high school.

Hope all is well and your enjoying yer self. It's been hotter than a co-drum of boiling celestial soup here.

oh yehQ in another life we used to go to Galveston and buy blue crap - boil a huge pot of them in the back yard, dump them all in the center of a picnic table covered in paper and chow down... yes sir best eating in the world.... except maybe fried sardines in downtown Rio....

Wow! My kids all love crab. They are not going to believe it when I show them this picture. The only time we have crab is at a restaurant.

Noe...does my special "peanuts" qualify as outdoor food?

Daryl does have some nice delicate
size 9 narrows!

Want some blackberries? Got a bunch of them that haven't been picked yet.
