Because today it's been 2 years since I've done this! I smoked for over 30 years ( yes I do realize this is longer than some of you are old!) and quitting was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Smoking was an addiction for me and I attempted many times to quit. After 2 years and countless times getting back on the wagon, I knew on that Thursday morning, March 15, 2007 , that I had it licked when I did not light up on the ride to work! Yesterday I was "showing off" but today "I'm braggin'". Cause I can!A Queen of all Trades is here to say........."a woman's work is never done"

That is the best thing you could ever do! I know how hard it is, too. And I am right there as a quitter with you! Well done!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
This is one of those times being a "quitter" is a good thing! You deserve the pat on your back - it's one of the hardest habits to break.
I really do want to be you when I decide to grow up because you inspire ME beyond comprehension.
way to go Noe and brag on all you want. I may be the princess, but you are the Queen of Everything.
WOOO HOOO! I hear ya and believe me, I know where you are, and where you've been...it's the hardest thing in the world to do, but I know you can do it.
I'm so proud of you!
Ok, I'm awake! You are two years smoke free!! I get it now. Of course that moves you way up on my list of admired peopled!
Happy two year anniversay!
THAT IS SIMPLY WONDERFUL! YOU KEEP ON GOIN', GIRL!
I smoked from 18 to 32. Quitting was the hardest thing I've ever done. Been 21 years since I've smoked - a very very good thing.
You brag all you want to, girl!! I am so proud of you!!
You go girl! I am right there with you.... I quit 7 years ago this April... not a single one since I quit and I brag All. The. Time.!!
Good for you! I'm not a fan of badgering people to quite smoking, but if you decide to do it then I'm right on the cheer wagon for you.
Congrats!
Travis-never to badger only to brag about me. I say smoke em if you got em! I know I sure did!
That? IS AWESOME! Congratulations! I know it took my dad many, many trying and failings before he finally was able to "lick it". I feel sure, short of crack, it's one of the hardest things to kick out there! :-)
I hear ya. I smoked for 14 years before quitting 6 years ago.
Hi there!
Well you earn them bragging rights! I'm sure you wouldn't get back into it!
I don't know how hard it is to stop but I have a couple of people I know struggling to stop so bad. They were like, "How did I managed to smoke for a long time? And I thought I wouldn't regret this! It looked so cool on a person back then!" hahaha.
Congrats!
Way to GO GIRL!
I"m PROUD and envious of you!!
You'd think, with cigs now, over $5.00 a pack, it would be more incentive for me!
Going to try another tactic today!
You have a "right" to brag!!!
Luv ya!
Sweetie, you should brag and boast and even dance naked if you want. What a fantastic anniversary!!
My goodness...brag, brag, brag ALL DAY!! I, for one am so glad you quit, I would be mortified to think of an open flame around all of the aqua net that you and BHE seem to embrace :) so honestly you quitting has saved your life in more than one way!!
You deserve to BRAG!! ALL DAY LONG!!!
Dirtbikes & Divas? Bwahahaha!
good for you!! Ive been on and off the wagon more times than Laurel Ingalls...
Congratulation. That is something worth bragging about.
What an awesome thing. I am thankful for you. I am working on Gary. He just smokes when he drives, but it makes me want to cry when I think about lung cancer....and all the other problems cigarettes cause!
Noe Noe???????
I say Yes, yes!!!!
You are a rockin Short Chick and I want to thank you for all of your sweet comments. You make ,y day, you do!!
Steady On
Reggie Girl
I bow down to you!
"TPB bowing down to NNG"
I, too, have quit and started, quit and started. I am in the process of quitting again. I went so far as to buy one of those e-ciggies. I am ashamed to admit that I haven't it tried it yet. This morning, I woke up with a nasty cough and my chest is hurting from it. Quitting smoking is the hardest thing that I have ever done. Researchers say that it gets easier each time that you try. But, I think in my case, I'll have to try 100 times before it gets anywhere near "easier".
Stay off the ciggies, Noe! You are doing great!!!!!
Brag all you want! That's a great accomplishment.
I am really really really proud of you. Absolutely and sincerely proud. I know that was hard and it is something to brag about.
Wow! That's great! Way to go!
I wish I could get Brian to stop smoking. Hmm.
