The Crown

Just so you know, today I am receiving another crown. It's not easy being a Queen. You have so many crowns you wear. At times it will make your head hurt!
Crowns can be easily earned though. All you have to do to earn one is be a good neighbor, a friend, a teacher, a cook, make a smile, spread some joy, any act of kindness, etc. You get the idea. And NO...you cannot earn a crown by being serial killer, an ax murderer, a bully or by being a total shit!
It will be impossible to ever know how many crowns you have. Many will be given and you will never even know about them. It is perfectly OK to give yourself a crown. You will know when it is earned. Some crowns will tarnish, some will have a few jewels and others will be loaded.
So today I am officially giving myself the "Bloggers Crown"! Thanks to my BFF for turning me on to this blogging thing (you know who you are). It is so fun and I may even get good at it! And for that BFF- I am also giving you a crown!
But no matter if you are a Queen, a King or even a Jack of all trades, the goal is to earn as many crowns as you can before earning the "good and faithful servant" crown. And wear your crowns with pride, no matter if they are tarnished or loaded with jewels. You have earned them. Whenever possible give a crown. The rewards are priceless!
