RIP Dr. John

I've been blogging for about a year and a half now. One of the places I visited often was Dr. John's Fortress. I have just learned of his passing. Dr. John was a wonderful story teller. His love for the Lord was felt in his kind words and his Sunday sermons quiet often gave me a wake up call. I will truly miss you Dr. John. You have left footprints on my heart. Love and prayers to his wife Betty and their family.

Well done good and faithful servant.
Rest in Peace Dr. John.

my prayers to his family. Isn't it amazing how drawn we are to those we have never "met." While some may say the internet separates and isolates us, I disagree. I spend so much more time praying for and thinking of those I have met.

I didn't hear about his passing. Dr. John gave me some profound advice at a time I really needed it. What a ministry he had through blogging.

I have never been there. I am sad of the loss. I tell Gary all the time that I will be so sad when any of my blogging friends pass away. So, so sad.
