The State Fair

The Virginia State Fair was in town a few weeks ago.
We made a family day of it. Lots of sights to see, some old
and some new. Lots of walking, rides, food, smells and
just plain ole fun! I did take my camera but was really
slack in the picture taking department.
Here are the few I did get.

Let the fun begin ~
Ma and Pa Kettle are on the scene.

This kid is having the time of his life!

Unleashed! Ride 'em cowboy!

No Fear!

I promise...
I did not make an ass of myself!

What is your best memory of the State Fair?

I haven't been to a fair in YEARS! You have inspired me to go out there, find one, attend and HAVE FUN!

Love and hugs to you my friend.

I've never been to a state fair, just county fairs. I always enjoyed the music.

Hey...I got your message in comments about needing help with your Peace Globe. I sent you an email about it. I'm happy to help!

Unfortunately, we did not make it to the State Fair this year:( It just wasn't the same without Snow White being here to go with us. I'll just tell the truth....we go for the food. The End!!

I haven't been to a state fair since I was a child, gosh, I need to go next year! Love the pictures, seeing you have fun with your family!

This looks like so much fun. They have the Puyallup fair here but it is so expensive. They charge you for everything, getting in the gate, rides, food, parking, it's never ending. I didn't go but it is much better priced in HI.

Loved the pics, especially ma and pa kettle.

Noe Noe Girl, I LOVE your pictures!

Fondest memory? When I was a little girl I liked the displays and the animals more than anything.

You are so much fun. Love the photos that you did manage to take. I used to watch Ma and Pa Kettle all the time when I was a kid. Love those movies.

I've never been to a state fair that I can remember. It's been about eight years since I've been to the county fair. My favorite part of the fair though is the corn dogs and home made potato chips, cotton candy, photo booth, and the hypnotist. Of course I like playing the games too and riding the rides. It's all fun.
