The annual Verizon Foundation Tools for School campaign is vital to decreasing financial burden on families and schools, providing K-12 students with basic supplies for learning, and enabling many school projects across the country to be completed. The campaign ran from July 19 to August 13 and I was proud to coordinate this project for my work location. I worked with a great and awesome team. They make me proud to be a part of this worthy cause. Together we were able to raise almost $1,600.00 worth of school supplies that will benefit about 200 children in the rural area where I live. New supplies helps to make the start of school so much nicer for every child in need. And the children is what it's all about!
