Awesome Marines

While on Spring break, The Marine hauled took Cdub and Little T to The Marine Corps Heritage Center, which is dedicated to the proud service of Marines, and includes the National Museum of the Marine Corps and Semper Fidelis Memorial Park. They spent the day gawking enjoying the museum's history, having lunch and of course spending their last dime in the gift shop. A real fun for men only day! Little T has not stopped talking about it. The dog tags he bought have become one of his most prized possessions.
Well about a week ago Cdub and Little T go over to see
The Marine. I was wondering what was taking them so long to get home. Looks like Little T was in basic training. He's learning from a master! They just don't get any better than The Marine! Have I mentioned we have the best neighbors EVAH!

MARINES? Yeah, we go Kaneohe Marines who fight all over the world, who ride Harleys in Hawaii when they get home, who make me cry when I see them for pride, gratitude, and other less-definable reasons...

Thanks for visiting Thistle Cove Farm, it led me back to you. I've enjoyed my visit and love the photos of the "little Marine". Thank God there are still young men and women interested in service to our country!

He looks so cool. I would of said adorable but I'm pretty sure that is not the look he is going for. Sounds like they had a great guys day out. I didn't even know there was a Marine museum, but I'm sure my sons would love something like this.

No we aren't packed yet, the Army does this. We don't need to report until Sept. but are leaving in July so we can get situated before school starts. Packing, ugh, don't remind me.
